Am I too old or too young to start Pilates?

Pilates can be beneficial for virtually all ages, fitness levels and body conditions. The method is like a bridge between physical fitness and physical therapy, and can be adapted, modified and customized to meet individual needs. It is more about your physical condition than your age

How often should I practice Pilates?

A minimum of once a week is recommended, however, ideally you should try and practice between 2-4 times a week

Can I do Pilates if I have a back problem or other injury?

Before pursuing any exercise programme it is important to check with your doctor. Subject to medical approval Pilates is ideal for people recovering from injury, illness, back problems or suffering from any activity that involves repetitive movements. Pilates can assist in injury prevention and provide relief from stress

Can I do Pilates if I'm pregnant?

We stongly advise you to consult your doctor before beginning any exercise programme during pregnancy. Generally speaking, moderate exercise is safe throughout a normal, healthy pregnancy and many gentle Pilates exercises are appropriate. It is important to consider the following points (which are not an exhaustive list)
