"I just wanted to say thank you for all that I've learned
from you and from yoga. I always think of you when I do a yoga class,
incorporating my own personality in it, as you've advised.
I want to share a story with you. There was a gentleman which was a marine
about a week ago on the cruise. He was exactly the tuff, buff that you've
mentioned in the yoga class. I sold yoga to him and he was quite skeptical
about doing it, it's "stretching right" was his words. So I gave him a
little intro, making him curious and he came to one of my classes. He was so
suprised afterwards he came to me and said he was amazed about how he could
feel the exercise working muscles in his body that he never realised. He was
so impressed he came to the rest of my yoga sessions and even asked about
more info to continue practising it back home! This was GREAT!!

I used to do lots of walking and dancing but now in my seventies this has eased back somewhat to be replaced by lethargy and an increased waistline. Encouraged by the family I cautiously crept along to a Pilates class to find lots of young and middle-aged women and not another elderly man in sight. But I had been advised well. The instructor couldn’t have been more helpful.
An hour once a week at this relatively gentle exercise designed to stretch and condition one’s muscles, especially around the midriff area, and I began to feel the benefits. I was beginning to become fitter. I was also more lively, alert with more energy, and am noticeably healthier.
